Newly remodeled and developed with ADA compliant restrooms and ampitheater added in 2012, this beach is a great place to take the whole family, including your toddlers for a lake-side swing in the playground. Bring your picnic basket, and your family will enjoy some of the best lakefront dining anywhere! You will marvel at the sweeping views from your picnic table. Plus, remember to bring along some bread crumbs for the friendly ducks and geese!


West Shore Beaches & Picnic Areas


Coast Guard Beach and Campground
This beach is near the boat ramp. To get there from Tahoe City, go East about 2 miles on Hwy. 28 and go right on Lake Forest Road. Turn at the Coast Guard sign, and curve right into the campground area. The beach will be on your left.

D.L. Bliss State Park
Located on Hwy. 89, South of Meeks Bay

Dog Beach
This beach is a little beyond Tahoe Tavern on Highway 89. It's a U.S. Forest Service beach. You and your dog are welcome. Dogs must be on leash.

Kaspian Recreation Area
Located on Hwy 89, South of Sunnyside

Boat Launch, Lifeguards, Fee, Dogs Allowed - This U. S. Forest Service beach is located off of Nevada State Route 28 on the Lake’s East Shore. From the parking lots, trailheads go 1/4 mile to the beach. This beach could be the most scenic beach on the East Shore.

Where are the Nude Tahoe Beaches?
You will find Tahoe's nude beaches on Nevada State Route 28 at Secret Harbor, Secret Cove and Paradise Beach. These on public land and beachgoers quiet, good stewards of the land, and nude.
