Learn to Draw and Paint Animals - Just for Young Artists Ages 11 to 13! August 15 - 19 at Lake Tahoe Community College. $50 class fee includes art materials and live furry models. South Tahoe High School students take on special projects to inform their peers on pet, wildlife and environmental issues. They volunteer at special events to help inform the general public as well. The club meets weekly during school session, and twice during the summer break.

Presentations for elementary and middle school classes introduce the history of the humane movement and current research on the linking of all violence, from homicide, to child and domestic violence to animal abuse. Resources are provided for family support and student help.
