About Gairin Celtic Music
Gairin Celtic Music got their start at Lake Tahoe, performing for the Lake Tahoe Renaissance Fair with the popular part-singing group The Modley Madrigals. From this humble beginning, Tom and Mary Kay Aufrance performed with many exceptional musicians, singers and actors at California and Nevada Renaissance Fairs and Celtic festivals. This talented and entertaining husband-and-wife duo picked up their instruments for the challenge of Contra Dance band playing, and also became to musical act of Slim and Minnie, for the reknowned Nevada Gunfighters Theatrical Acting Troupe. Today you will find their vocal harmonies getting top reviews on Youtube, and also live at local Celtic music sessions.
